Description
Elsa is a Level 1 Monster whose main feature is its massive amount of health (600 HP, the highest in the game) and its ability to transform when it feels neglected.
Behavior :
Elsa has two distinct states based on the attention it receives:
- Initial State (Passive): It appears as a small dog. If you give it enough attention, it will move away and roam without attacking you.
- Aggressive State (Transformed): If you ignore it, it will start barking more and more, and after about 15 seconds it will transform. Once transformed, it will chase you for another 15 seconds, and it cannot be caught or pushed away. It can make large leaps and attack you from under furniture.
Attack :
Elsa’s attack in its transformed state deals 5 damage per hit and attacks very quickly. However, its main danger comes from its ability to knock the player back.
- If you collide with a wall after being knocked back by Elsa, you take an additional 25 damage.
- This knockback mechanic can easily lead to a deadly stun-lock, where you take massive damage bouncing between Elsa and a wall.
So make sure to flee into an open space!
Appearance :
In her passive form, she looks like an adorable little white dog, with a slight smile and black eyes. When she shifts into her enraged form, she grows massive muscles and can run on her two hind legs. Her eyes also turn red, and her smile becomes much wider.
Tips & Strategies
- Use the Stun: You can use a flash grenade or a weapon with high stun potential to stop her. The stun works even in her transformed (aggressive) form. Once stunned, you can grab and throw her to deal damage or toss her into a pit.
- Recommended Weapons: The Sledgehammer is particularly effective, as it deals heavy damage and has a good chance to stun.
- Avoid Confrontation: Don’t try to kill her unless you have somewhere to throw her (like wells or pits), as her 600 HP makes her a very resource- and time-consuming opponent. Just pet her from time to time!
- Duck Bucket: You can use a Duck Bucket on her. It doesn’t do anything, but it’s funny.
