Description
The Peeper looks like a giant, floating eye stuck to the ceiling. It stays inactive until a player walks precisely underneath it. Once activated, the Peeper forces your camera to lock onto it, stopping the player from glancing elsewhere.
After approximately 3 seconds of mandatory eye contact, it starts inflicting 2 damage per second until the line of sight is broken. Consequently, avoiding direct exposure is the most successful way to counter it.
Distorted Voice & Early Spotting :
While a player is under the Peeper's gaze, their voice will become high-pitched, which acts as an audio clue that they are currently under its influence.
You can successfully spot a Peeper before it triggers by checking rooms from above—its upper portion slightly clips through the ceiling, particularly in levels featuring multiple vertical floors.
Orb Drop Behavior :
Upon being defeated, the Peeper has three possible outcomes for the orb drop:

It might release the orb normally at the location of its death.

It may fail to drop the orb altogether.

Or it could generate the orb at a random spot somewhere within the level.
However, when it is eliminated using specific methods, the Peeper is guaranteed to drop its orb, which makes systematic kills much more worthwhile.
Appearance :
Peeper is simply a giant eye. It’s a dark grayish-blue eyeball with an orange iris and a black pupil. The eyeball is surrounded by some kind of dark brown material, hanging from the ceiling in the game.
Tips & Strategies

While under a Peeper's gaze, opening the map enables you to move safely around the room despite your restricted view.

Thanks to its minimal health, the Peeper can be swiftly eliminated—for instance, it requires just 2 strikes with a frying pan or a single hit with a sword.

When you are by yourself and using a melee weapon, jump and swing upwards quickly to strike the Peeper on the ceiling, reducing your time exposed to its gaze.

If a teammate is experiencing the Peeper’s effect, instruct them to tumble, then carry them out of the line of sight to quickly end the gaze.

Use items such as medkits, the Pocket C.A.R.T., Valuables, or physics-based props to either physically obstruct or interrupt the Peeper's line of sight.
