Description
The Shadow Child is a level 1 Monster that. It teleports close to players, frequently popping up behind doors or right nearby, heralded by quiet laughter.
Attack Mechanics :
The moment a player looks at the Shadow Child, six white arms gradually emerge from its body, and the player's screen dims. If the player holds the gaze for approximately 5 seconds, it will forcefully pull their vision toward its face and then hurl the player at itself with a voice uttering "yoink," inflicting 30 damage before vanishing. Note that the 5-second timer does not reset if the player glances away.
Damage Taken and Behavior :
The Shadow Child only sustains 10 physics damage instead of the typical 25. If either left undisturbed for approximately 10 seconds or struck, it will soon after teleport to a different spot.
Appearance :
The Shadow Child is inspired by the infamous Slenderman. It’s entirely black, with a tall, thin, humanoid shape, but has the white face—or mask—of a young child. It has six arms on its back, which begin to grow when you stare at it for too long.
Tips & Strategies

You can safely look at the Shadow Child by keeping it at the periphery of your view, which prevents its attack from being triggered.

The Shadow Child can be briefly stunned by valuables of any dimension, although eliminating it is difficult since it teleports away. Stunning it is still helpful to make it vanish for a short duration.

To quickly eliminate the Shadow Child, attempt a Tumble Launch into it. This stuns it for 2 seconds, and then it vanishes immediately. Be advised that you will lose 5 HP when performing this move.

Since it teleports away when assaulted, killing the Shadow Child by slamming it into walls or dropping it into pits is often futile. It is typically better to avoid attacking unless you possess a potent weapon or it is absolutely essential.
