Items

Items can only be obtained through the gas station. They provide the player with various benefits, whether by improving their stats or for defensive or utilitarian purposes. Weapons, drones, C.A.R.T.S., and other items (except the Energy Crystal) are purchased once and remain available forever, even if they are destroyed or lost during a game.

Tips

  •  Some unique items can only be found in a hidden ceiling compartment. This compartment is always located on the medkit side of the display case, two ceiling tiles directly outward from the medkits,in the Service Station. The ceiling tile can be grabbed and opened to access the space. Since the compartment is unreachable without assistance, players can use knockback-based items like the Shockwave Grenade or Shockwave Mine, deploy a Phase Bridge, stack large objects, or use Extra Jumps to reach it.
  • Because the game limits the number of upgrades that can exist at once, you can manipulate shop spawns by purchasing upgrades you do not plan to use and storing them. For example, if you buy and store four Stamina Upgrades, one Tumble Launch Upgrade, one Extra Jump Upgrade, and one Map Player Count Upgrade, you will guarantee that Strength, Sprint Speed, Range, and Stamina Upgrades appear in the shop. This works because there are seventeen possible upgrades, the shop can only spawn ten, and you have removed seven from the pool. This same method can be applied to health packs, drones, and other items.

  • Larger monsters typically do not turn around to face you if you walk directly behind them, unless you are running. This behavior can be exploited by moving behind them and using the Inflatable Hammer on the floor to either side of them in hopes of triggering its explosion. Always keep stamina ready for a quick escape in case they turn unexpectedly.

Identical items may appear side by side in the shop with different prices, so check carefully before purchasing.
