Mollie Macaw is the daring pilot of Indigo Park. Once the cheerful face of “Mollie’s Rooftop Races,” she now haunts the empty park, chasing intruders with the same fearless energy she once used to welcome guests.
Mollie is a striking blue-and-yellow macaw with a dark gray beak. Glowing white pupils set within hollow black eye sockets lend her an eerie vibe in her “real” form, while her cartoon counterpart boasts big eyelashes and entirely winged arms.
She sports an aviator cap, a white scarf, and a brown jacket over olive-toned attire, but in the abandoned park, those clothes are mostly gone... except her beloved helmet. It’s sticking around, not from design, but out of emotional attachment.
If there’s one thing that describes Mollie, it’s confidence ! Or maybe... overconfidence. She’s a bold pilot and an inventive engineer, crafting her own planes but with a “crash-it-like-it’s-hot” track record, as teased by Rambley.
In her cartoon form, she’s ridiculously cheery and always up for welcoming others aboard her ride, Rooftop Races.
But in the grim, deserted park, that bravado takes on a darker twist—there’s a clear sense of protective loyalty here... or perhaps, territorial ferocity.
Mollie appears throughout Chapter 1 :
She’s got mimicry—parrots’ classic superpower—and the game’s ominous warning on her death screen drives home how deadly that can be, even if it’s not used as a gameplay mechanic. Plus, she can boost herself beyond normal jump distance, giving her a scary physical edge—though whether she can truly fly remains ambiguous
Beta roots : Her early model was borrowed from the Reincarnated Opila Bird teaser—some fans initially thought Indigo Park was a continuation of that series.
Ride Mascot : She’s the face (and pilot) of Mollie’s Rooftop Races, the park attraction she opens for visitors.
Soda Brand : She has her own in-universe beverage—Bird Up is her signature soda.
Helmet Attachment : Though her coat and pants are long gone, she clings to her aviator helmet—for emotional comfort. A developer side story explains this detail, even though it doesn’t appear directly in-game.
Brutal Jumpscare : The humorless end to her chase is more gruesome than cinematic—she splatters blood in the scary close-up, only to be decapitated by that slammed door.
First to Fall : She’s the only mascot who’s actually dead in the game... for now.
Subtle Representation : UniqueGeese, the creator, has casually said he’s “down with” fans thinking she's a lesbian
One wild theory fans floated : Could there be more than one Mollie ? Reddit discussions point to moments in the chase where she seems to teleport into your path. Some suggest that multiple animatronic copies—or "Mollie clones"—could explain how she appears in different places almost simultaneously (Reddit - Paladinfinitum)
