Description

Lloydford “Lloyd” L. Lion is the show-boasting, spotlight-hungry mascot of Indigo Park’s Main Stage Theater. Once the pride of the park, he’s now a theatrical foe lurking in the shadows—big, brash, and impossible to ignore.

Appearance :

Lloyd cuts an imposing figure with his bright orange fur and darker orange mane featuring red bangs and yellow streaks.

He’s wearing a sharp, tailored suit with blue sleeves, a dark waistcoat, and a matching blue bow tie integrated into his mane.

His nose, paws, and eyes are strikingly blue, while his torso is long and top-heavy with shorter legs below—giving him an almost comical, yet powerful silhouette. His tail ends in a fluffy orange-and-yellow tuft. When in his monstrous form, his stripes vanish, and his eyes turn frighteningly dark.

Personality :

Lloyd is a drama king—loud, proud, and stunningly self-centered. He rolls his R’s for dramatic flair, calling on grand phrases like “commonfolk” while living for the applause.

Despite his pomp, he does show a softer side - shedding tears when his friend Mollie leaves him during « Mollie, Ahoy » !

But his glory didn’t last. Subtle clues—like the presence of only his retro plush and a backstage statue—hint that he used to be Indigo Park’s top dog, but now he’s lost ground to Rambley. His former limelight turned to bitterness and passive-aggressive rivalry

Gameplay :

Lloyd appears throughout Chapter 1, when you sneak into Lloyd’s Main Stage Theater, to find the keys to Jetstream Junction :

  • Lloyd is initially asleep on stage. As you approach, he jolts awake and retreats behind the curtains.
  • In the backstage maze, he hides behind shelves or prowls in the shadows. If you push too close, he lunges—toppling boxes in the chaos, one of which knocks him down, allowing you to access the office with the key.
  • Later, when you’re escaping, he attacks again—but the Critter Cuff emits a high-pitched tone that sends him scurrying away.

He’s less a ruthless predator and more a startled showman thrown into a dark, abandoned set—but he still makes for a tense, memorable encounter.

Trivia :

  • Actor Vibes : When asked on stream who Lloyd was, creator UniqueGeese cheekily said, “Who’s Lloyd? I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

  • Retro Plush : Lloyd is the only main character who has a “throwback” plush toy collectible—much to Rambley’s frustration.
  • Theater Kid Energy : His character seems inspired by MGM’s iconic roaring lion intro—plus he’s literally a performer at heart.
  • Color Crush : His favorite color? Orange—naturally.
  • Backstage Royalty : His theater houses a gold statue, vintage memorabilia, and even a sign for “Lloyd’s Limos”—suggesting this used to be the centerpiece attraction before being replaced by Rambley.
  • Will Return : The creator confirmed that Lloyd will reappear in future chapters.

Theory :

“My theory is that Lloyd was the main mascot of the park before Rambley…”

Reddit user, pointing out that intro footage features a mural of Lloyd and that Rambley later replaced him completely. (Reddit - GuavaNo9023)
